All you need to know about the JFBM
Every year, the JFBM (Journées Francophones de Biologie Médicale) organises a congress, formerly known as the Colloque National des Biologistes Hospitaliers. This event usually brings together more than 250 partners and 400 biologists from France and other French-speaking countries, whether they work in hospitals or in private practice.
The opening session of the JFBM will focus on exploring the future of medical biology in the presence of Dr Jean Léonetti, former Minister, Mayor of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, President of the Agglomeration Community of Sophia Antipolis, Alain Bernard, former Olympic champion and his coach, Denis Auguin from the French Swimming Federation. The conference will focus on 2 main areas
- Ethics and medicine: a social issue
- Resilience and team spirit: the example of top-level sport by a former Olympic champion.
After the opening session, there will be the opportunity to take part in workshops, many of which will focus on the practical application of the disciplines in everyday life.
Updating knowledge is critical to the quality and safety of care, and the JFBM Congress aims to cover the latest developments in on-call medical biology and emergency management. This year’s conference will also focus more on medical biology in private practice.
There will also be a number of conferences during the congress : JFBM Programme
