The Dax Hospital Center is embarking on a major transformation project aimed at modernizing its laboratory test ordering process. This initiative reflects a clear commitment to enhancing patient safety, streamlining workflows, and leveraging a dedicated, purpose-built solution.
A Hospital Deeply Rooted in Its Region
As a leading healthcare provider within the Landes Hospital Group Territory (GHT), the Dax Hospital Center plays a pivotal role in patient care delivery and care pathway coordination. In this context, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of laboratory test orders is a critical priority for both clinical teams and the laboratory.
A Project Focused on Laboratory Test Ordering
Already equipped with the EdgeLab Laboratory Information System (LIS), the Dax Hospital laboratory sought to further enhance its capabilities by implementing a high-performance ordering solution.
Two options were evaluated:
– The implementation of a laboratory ordering interface integrated with the Hôpital Manager EHR developed by Softway,
– The deployment of a dedicated, best-in-class laboratory ordering solution: Inlog4Prescription.
Following this assessment, the hospital chose Inlog4Prescription—our specialized solution designed to meet both the specific needs of clinical teams (physicians and caregivers) and the operational requirements of hospital laboratories.
